Ganti nama diri, saya, kali ini:

Masuk kelas tadi.

Bunyi kucing. Bunyi anjing.

Kemudian saya tanya dengan pelajar.

“Ada kucing dengan anjing ke dalam kelas ni?”

“Ada miss, sedang mengawan,”

“Hah?!”

“Nanti anaknya jadi Kunjing,”

“Gila!”

haha..lawak pagi. Maaf kalau ia menyentuh sensitiviti kamu. Saja dijadikan intro entri kali ini. Modus operandinya saya kurang pasti. Jadi sila abaikan, terus baca entri sebenar di bawah.

Salam,

Kali ini cerita akademik sikit, mengenai buku. Tentang habit membaca dalam kalangan kita. Saya kongsi bersama buku-buku yang masih, belum, sedang dan telah diterokai.

Sehingga hari ini, masih membaca buku Chicken Soup for the Soul, Count Your Blessing, novel yang tersangatlah comel.

Sinopsis:

This follow-on book to Tough Times, Tough People continues Chicken Soup for the Soul’s focus on inspiration and hope in these difficult times. These inspirational stories remind us that each day holds something to be thankful for — whether it is having the sun shine or having food on the table. Power outages and storms, health scares and illnesses, job woes and financial insecurities, housing  challenges and family worries test us all. But there is always a silver lining. The simple pleasures of family, home, health, and inexpensive good times are described. These stories of optimism, faith, and strength will make a great start to 2010.

Saya masih aktif membaca biar pun sedang sibuk melayan anak-anak bangsa menimba ilmu di kolej.

Tetapi…sebuah novel yang masih belum habis diteroka ialah, Eat, Pray, Love karya si Elizabeth Gilbert,

Sinopsis buku:

One Woman’s Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia

Dan sampai sekarang saya masih mencari buku ini As If I’m Not There, Slavenka Drakulic, sesiapa yang ada maklumat tolong hello-hello dengan saya ya.

Sinopsis:

S. is a teacher in a Bosnian village. When war breaks out, a Serb soldier removes her to a camp where the women are systematically raped. When she is freed she is pregnant but realises that the child may be a reason for hope.
